Whose Life Will Your Home Sale Change?

As Seattle's first social realtor, every sale with Chapman Homes helps a person in need at no additional cost to you. See how it works HERE.

Round of applause for these HEROES! My clients, Fabby and Miguel helped a homeless woman get back on her feet through their home purchase. As always, my fantastic client's home sale generated a donation to one of Chapman Homes non-profit partners.

This time around a gift was made to Acres of Diamonds, who helps homeless women and their children get back on their feet. Tammy (see story below) has experienced much trauma but strength is being restored, and she is beginning to stand on her own again.

Tammy suffers from PTSD because of what she went through as a child. She witnessed violence toward her mother, especially one night she cannot erase from her mind. To cope with the emotional trauma, Tammy started down a path that resulted in her being homeless.

Tammy and her family

Tammy had to send her kids to live with family members while she lived in a tent – cold and alone. To make matters worse, she became pregnant while she was homeless. This was her rock bottom. Tammy did not want to bring a baby into this environment. She prayed for the strength to turn her life around. Soon, she was in a shelter. That’s where she heard about Acres of Diamonds.

Thanks to the donation from Fabby and Miguel's home sale, Tammy and her children have been continuing to thrive at Acres of Diamonds. Today, Tammy is preparing to move out and into her own apartment!

Matthew Chapman works hard to make your home buying or selling experience enjoyable and gives part of every commission to help a person in need.
