Weld Member Highlight: Monica

As Seattle's first social realtor, every sale with Chapman Homes helps a person in need at no additional cost to you. See how it works HERE.

Monica now relishes the moment she received a house key to her mother's home, a

symbol of regained trust and a testament to the profound transformations facilitated by

Weld Seattle. This newfound stability is especially meaningful as Monica supports her

sister, offering a dependable presence starkly different from her troubled past. Monica's

childhood was characterized by both support and challenges, with pivotal moments

including being expelled from her home at sixteen and later turning to substance abuse

as a coping mechanism.

Despite numerous relapses, Monica's recovery journey gained traction through the

consistent and multifaceted support provided by Weld Seattle. Her current role as a

Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee allows her to leverage her experiences to

assist others in their recovery journeys. Monica's story is a vivid example of resilience,

underscoring the power of community and structured support in overcoming personal

crises.

Through a donation to Weld Seattle made possible by my client's, Bilal Ahman & Malike Reziwanguli, home sale, we were able to help enable crucial programs that support individuals like Monica. We are happy to help offer others like Monica a chance to transform their lives and impact others. Each story of recovery and renewal is a testament to the enduring spirit of our

community members and the critical role of supportive networks in fostering sustainable

change.
